Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese

Who’s ready for a bomb grilled cheese sandwich? I give you Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese on Bread SRSLY XL sourdough Pullman loaf. Grilled cheeses are always the best on sourdough, and I drool over the one from Bread SRSLY. It has the sourdough flavor, holds up to all the ingredients on the bread, toasts up to perfection and is top 9 allergen friendly. You can tell from my facial expressions[ alone how good this grilled cheese is! Toasted sourdough, loads of spicy buffalo chicken and a three cheese blend of cheddar, Swiss and provolone. Lunch or dinner is served and I’ve got a full loaf of sourdough to prove it.

Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Ingredients


8 slices GF sourdough

1.25 lbs chicken breasts

Buffalo sauce

Buffalo wing seasoning or salt and pepper to taste

4 oz cheddar sliced

4 oz Swiss sliced

4 oz provolone sliced

Butter for cooking



Directions

  1. Season chicken with buffalo wing seasoning and cook in air fryer for 25 minutes.

  2. Remove from air fryer and slice chicken into strips. Finely dice chicken strips into small pieces.

  3. Add chicken to a bowl and toss with buffalo sauce.

  4. Take slices of bread and spread butter on the outside.

  5. Add a slice of provolone to both pieces of bread. Top one side with 1/4 of the buffalo chicken. On the other side, add the cheddar and Swiss.

  6. Put sandwich together and place on panini press or in toaster. Cook for 3-4 mins per side and flip once bread is toasted and golden brown.

  7. Slice grilled cheese in half and serve.
