Out with the Old and in with the New

Updated: Jan 15, 2022

Today is the last day of 2021, and I don't think anyone could have predicted the year we have had. Year 2 of the pandemic, more lockdowns, lockdowns lifted, travel, seeing friends/family for the first time in over two years...you name it a lot happened.

As I look back on this year, I am fortunate for my first calendar year of this page and all the opportunities that have presented itself. From brands starting to reach out to me, blogger Groups, foodie events, dining at amazing restaurants, writing new recipes, creating impactful content, media opportunities and even a few trips thrown in there. I feel fortunate to have seen my page grow by a couple thousand followers, and hope for continued growth into the new year. I already have a few projects in the works for 2022, and I will be sharing details in the near future.

In the meantime, I thank you all for your support and helping me follow a passion of mine. Without my loyal audience, I would not be where I am at today. I am excited to create new recipes in 2022 and see what business opportunities present themselves. I have learned from this year to stand behind what you believe, and you do not have to say yes to every opportunity presented to you. Go with the ones you can put your all into.

I close this year by having a relaxing night at home with family watching the New Year's specials, eating takeout from one of our favorite restaurants Pita Inn and taking it easy as tomorrow starts 2022.

No matter how you celebrate the New Year tonight around the world, reflect back on this last year and look forward to the new one ahead!

Happy New Year!
